Dear Parishioners,

As promised I am sending you an email to inform you of our new Covid 19 protocols for Sunday worship. As you are likely aware, our provincial government is imposing new measures designed to decrease the number of new cases of Covid 19 as we are now in the fourth wave of the virus and daily case numbers have been rising dramatically. Here is a link to the new measures from the NB Government:

As you likely know by now masks must be worn in all indoor spaces effective today so please bring a mask and wear it on Sunday at all times inside the building. Our Covid 19 Operational Plan Committee met this week and have decided that we are going to ask congregation members to refrain from singing for the time being with the exception of the choir as they will be spaced further apart than the rest of us. The books used at the 9:00 am service will be placed in a bin and kept separate for over 72 hours to prevent the spread of any virus. We are also going to go back to serving just the bread at communion for the time being. Lastly we are following the NB Government regulations and are going to ask for you to show proof of vaccination from Covid 19. Proof of vaccination can be provided in any of the following forms:

  • MyHealthNB record

  • Immunization record from an RHA clinic, pharmacy, or Public Health

  • Photo or copy of an immunization record

  • Proof of Vaccination from another jurisdiction

  • Medical exemption certificate

We are going to ask you to show this once and we will keep a list of people who have shown us proof of vaccination. We will not photocopy or keep any medical records as this would violate privacy law

I know this is uncharted territory for all of us and it is likely frustrating for many of us to go back to wearing masks and not singing etc. I remind you that at the heart of these requirements is for the health and safety of people. Covid remains a serious threat to the health of New Brunswickers and each of us needs to do our part to protect the lives of our families, friends, and neighbors. Thank-you for your cooperation and your patience.

If you have any feedback about any of these directions please let us know.

In Christ,

Jonathan and the Covid 19 Operational Plan Commitee

September 19, 2021:  17th Sunday after Pentecost (HC-BCP)

Dear Parishioners,

I hope you are enjoying the warm fall weather. Today is a beautiful day! My wife is out doing some gardening and I am about to take the dog for a walk. I want to thank-you for your patience during the last 18 months with all of the changes due to Covid 19. I want to remind you of the changes coming this Wednesday as the government introduces changes to the way businesses operate. Our Covid 19 Operational Plan Committee is meeting on Tuesday to discuss how best to implement these changes. I will send an email out following that meeting to let know of any changes to how we worship.

God Bless, Jonathan
